Tanu K. Ranu earned her law degree in 2012 from India and practiced family, criminal, and civil law at the Delhi High Court for nearly five years. During this period, she also contributed to a Department of Justice project through her work with Thomson Reuters, assisting with complex cases related to the U.S. housing market crash.
Upon relocating to Canada, Tanu successfully completed the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process and was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2024.
She subsequently received her license from the Law Society of British Columbia in April 2024. Tanu’s practice primarily focuses on family law, including matters under the Child, Family and Community Service Act (CFCSA), as well as Business & Civil disputes. She is committed to ensuring access to justice by accepting Legal Aid files, undertaking pro bono work, and providing flexible fee arrangements, including reductions and payment plans, to accommodate clients’ needs.
